For a long time now i have sat back and listened to the world around, lately the election. Having listened to the news about Gordon Brown and his comments to a lady who was asked to speak to him. I find it quite unbelievable now that we have a labor government with a leader who appears to say one thing in public and another in private, that is not to say he his the only one!
As we have heard, or not heard! from all the leaders who appear in the press, they continually avoid key issues which as we can see from the polls are quite important to a majority of people in this country!
We have Nick Clegg telling us that the Lib Dems plan on giving every illegal immigrant will be granted permission to stay in the UK and supposedly tighten up the borders. Once this happens, who is to say it will not happen again?
We have both the Conservatives and Labour avoiding the question altogether and just trying to baffle us. Personally i may have missed their points, but when you read in the news that the UK Border agency is cutting back on jobs! It is reported though that they will be management positions, wait and see! however the front line staff still hint that they are under staffed. Where is the logic which all the leaders telling us that they intend to tighten up borders.

A good point made is the SNP trying to take legal action against the BBC for not allowing them to join in with the leaders debate, the judge has turned down their claim on the grounds as to why they did not apply to be on the previous two debates held on ITV and SKY. It is not as though the broadcasts were set at the very last minute, so why just pick on the BBC?
I am not a great supporter of the BBC as there are quite a few issues that they also need to sort out, however, they do seem to be the target for all sorts of issues.

We have the financial crisis to get through, this will take many years, with all the parties telling us very little, but we all know we are all going to be hit in pocket, hard. Labour will probably do it in the usual manner, through stealth taxes, give you a little in one hand and make you think all is well, but then take a fortune from the other hand. Conservatives will in all likely hood be a bit more up front buy not giving you anything in one hand, but still take alot from the other, Lib Dems, well i still can not quite make head or tails of their plans!

The way i see it, the UK seems to be a magnet for immigrants, legal and illegal, as we are a soft country, we hand out benefits and homes on silver platters, but if you are born and bred in the UK, forget it! This is very the BNP are gathering momentum, mainly on immigration.

Europe, Labour have done it again, hand over more powers to Brussels, give away Maggie's rebate. Just think if Labour had not signed away the rebate, there would be more in the Treasury coffers! stand to reason!
David Cameron, Conservatives, promised us a referendum if the Lisbon treaty had not been signed, now there is nothing, not even an alternative to vote on something like trying to get some of the laws rules and anything else possible back from Brussels, Here is where UKIP are getting some momentum.
